COMMUNITY CRISIS
Give today to the COVID-19 Rapid Response Fund through March 31.

For Nonprofits

Nonprofit organizations providing services in Erie County are invited to submit applications for emergency grant support in response to COVID-19 needs and hardships.

Grant funds are provided through the COVID-19 Rapid Response Fund.

Grant funds will be prioritized to:

  • Provide food to those in need
  • Care of our children
  • Serve the elderly, who are the most vulnerable population to COVID-19
  • Help those suffering from hardships and job loss due to the COVID-19

TIMELINE

Now through April 1 — Applications will be accepted.

No grant match is required.

While a limit on size of grants has not been set, awards will be assessed based on need, funds available, etc. Funds may be used for both service delivery and salaries/overhead as essential to emergency response and viability.

A community review committee will access the proposals. Award decisions will be made by April 3.

Friday, April 3 — Grant awards will be mailed.

The grant opportunity will be extended if/as additional community donations to the fund are received.

Grant use/expenditure reports will mirror those of the ECF Helping Today grant program and will be required eventually although due dates will not be near term during this time of community hardship.
