SAFE - ensuring residents, visitors, and employees of downtown can get to where they need to go with clear sidewalks and Downtown Ambassadors checking on those who may need it. 

• Litter and debris removal
• Clearing snow from sidewalks 
• Providing wellness checks to vulnerable neighbors 
• Seasonal assistance such as handing out water or handwarmers 

FUN - creating free, family-friendly events that support residential engagement and positive economic impact for surrounding small businesses. We produce some of the largest events downtown, such as: 

• St. Patrick's Parade
• Downtown d'Lights Holiday Event 
• Fall Fest 
• Small Business Saturday 

EDP also invests in quality-of-life of life programming, including: 

• Sunrise Yoga at Dobbins Landing
• Pay-What-You-Can Farmers Market 
• World Refugee Day Celebration 
• CycleFest Downtown Slow Roll

WELCOMING - Bautifying and maintaining the appearance of the commercial core so that those who frequent downtown feel at home with the help of the Downtown Ambassadors' work of:

• Pressure washing and graffiti 
• Watering flower baskets around downtown
• Providing directional assistance to visitors 

EDP also works to support, celebrate, and highlight what makes Downtown Erie the growing hub it's become with: 

• Ribbon cuttings for new businesses 
• Business engagement and outreach 
• Facade improvement grants 
• Online directory of downamenities and events

Programming that supports businesses, residents, and visitors supports a thriving downtown, the benefits of which echo through the surrounding city. Building community creates connection and the desire to invest in a downtown to be proud of.
