Footlights Youth Theatre

Footlights Youth Theatre began in 1975 with a simple idea: create a space where people can be seen, heard, and celebrated.

More than 50 years later, that idea still leads everything we do.

What started as a summer program for young people has grown into a community-centered arts organization where confidence is built, creativity is nurtured, and everyone has a space to thrive.

Today, Footlights is guided by Executive Steward and Founding Director KC McCloskey, whose work has shaped a culture rooted in trust, growth, and belonging.

What We Do
We create accessible theatre experiences for young people while also offering space for adults to reconnect with the arts, community, and themselves.
