Holy Trinity Lutheran Church

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church (located at 643 W 17th Street) is a warm and friendly, multi-cultural, Spirit-led, community-focused congregational family of faith, deeply committed to local outreach.  Dedicated teams of volunteers from Holy Trinity and other local congregations with a heart for inner city ministry offer Pasta/Soup kitchens to neighbors in need at least four times a week.  Everything is free to those in need.  Nearly 8,500 free prepared meals were served in 2025, and additional food to take home is provided as often as possible, depending on donations.   Once a week, and at other times as needed, Holy Trinity also offers a clothes closet, which is expanding to include personal hygiene and essential personal care items.   As a community of faith, and with the help and contributions of those who share God's call to inner-city mission and ministry, we will continue to do our best to identify and respond to the most urgent needs in the community.
