The Kiwanis Club of Erie Foundation supplies books to the R. Benjamin Wiley Charter School every month during the school year. Each student gets a book to take home with them. Kiwanis members also read to the kindergarten and 1st grade classes each month.
This year, in conjunction with the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the Foundation is sponsoring a carnival at Columbus Park on July 11th. The carnival is free and open to the public. It will feature food, games and entertainment for children.
