The Raising Wonder Foundation, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organized for charitable and educational purposes, with a primary focus on providing family support services. Our programming is dedicated to strengthening the bond between adult and child through play, learning, and community support.
The Raising Wonder Foundation is looking to partner with even more parents and other caregivers helping to raise, take care of, and educate kids. Our programming is dedicated to strengthening the bond between adult and child through play, learning, and community support. In addition to our connection-based indoor playspace, we also offer both in-person and virtual parent coaching, small groups, professional development, as well as host the Raising Wonder podcast.
We are raising funds to launch our new initiative, Connection for All, which will provide sponsored punch card admission passes to qualifying families who may otherwise be unable to afford access to our indoor playspace and other support programming.
Our goal of raising $500 will be used to cover 10 sponsored punch card passes, with each pass including 10 punch spaces. This would allow a family to visit our playspace programming 5 times if visiting with one adult and one child, or to be redeemed for two parent coaching sessions. In total, our proposed goal amount would fund 100 playspace admissions or 20 parent coaching sessions for families.
Our nonprofit-run indoor playspace provides a safe and supported environment with age-appropriate play equipment, developmentally supportive toys, sensory tools, parent coaching and small group opportunities, and social-emotional learning materials and activities designed to encourage healthy early childhood development and caregiver connection. Our parent coaching, small groups, and professional development trainings provide a setting in which adults can explore ideas of safety, connection, encouragement, and accountability with their children.
The Raising Wonder Foundation was founded with the heart of parents and the wonder of childhood in mind. Raising children is both challenging and beautiful, and in today’s world, we are often overwhelmed with busy schedules and the inundation of information and opinions. Parents and other caregivers love and want the best for their kids, and we believe they should have the space to explore and practice doing just that.
We care about accessibility and community, which is why we offer the following services:
an indoor playspace for children in early childhood their caregivers for open play during operating hours, for a variety of programming, as well as to be rented out for celebrations
trainings, small groups, and individual coaching to provide adults with educational experiences focused on relationship and connection with their child(ren)
a five-star-rated parenting podcast, called Raising Wonder, that extends this connection and collaboration over our mission out into other spaces
We are currently 100% volunteer-run, and we are honored to have an amazing and committed Board of Directors composed of knowledgeable and local leaders. At this point, we rely completely on the generosity of our community to continue working for our mission, and we have been blown away by the variety of support already received. Thank YOU!
