The Greater Erie Economic Development Corporation (GEEDC) is a catalyst for change. Our mission is to make economic development, educational assistance programs, and pre-apprenticeship trades more readily accessible to minorities, women, and marginalized citizens of Erie, Pennsylvania.
We provide opportunities that reduce barriers to success while transcending obstacles and allowing residents to achieve their dreams. Through our scholarships and grants, we are turning back the clock on systems that have marginalized individuals for decades. By uplifting individuals, we are creating generational change and inspirational impact.
The “We Believe in Erie” Fund is established as a component fund of The Erie Community Foundation (ECF). As a donor designated fund of ECF, the “We Believe in Erie” Fund operates under ECF’s charitable designation (25-6032032) and receives fiscal and administrative oversight from ECF.
