Every day, sick, injured, and orphaned wild animals need help—and the people who find them need to know who to call.

In 2025 alone, Wildlife In Need PA (WIN) answered more than 4,000 calls for help.

As an all-volunteer nonprofit, WIN responds when wildlife is in crisis, safely capturing and transporting animals to licensed wildlife rehabilitators who can provide the specialized care they need.

That’s thousands of animals—and people—who didn’t have to face these emergencies alone.

Wildlife comes into crisis for many reasons, including vehicle strikes, habitat loss, and injuries associated with human activity. With your support, WIN can be there when help is needed most. 💚

Your Donation Makes Rescue Possible

Your gift helps provide the equipment, outreach, and response system WIN volunteers need to answer the call:

• Humane Capture Equipment
  Safe, humane traps for animals like opossums, foxes, raccoons, and skunks ($50–$200 each)

• Specialized Bird Rescue Gear
  Nets and equipment for safely capturing birds of all sizes—from hummingbirds to eagles
  (Small nets ~$25 | Large telescoping nets ~$75 | Bownets $500–$1,000 | Net guns $800+)

• Community Outreach & Education
  Recruiting volunteers to help ensure wildlife emergencies have a response available in more areas, while educating the public about what to do—and who to call—when wildlife needs help

• Prevention
  Developing initiatives to raise awareness and reduce injuries associated with discarded fishing line in Pennsylvania’s waterways

• Emergency Response System
  Building WIN’s own dedicated dispatch system to provide a more reliable first point of contact for people reporting wildlife in need
