All God's Children Ministries

All God's Children Ministries (AGCM) was founded to equip and empower Christians to be in ministry with those affected by disability. Our Ramps of Hope program, now in its 16th year of service to Erie County residents, has built more than 940 ramps. We rely on donations from individuals, grants, churches, organizations and businesses to assist us each year. 

The Ramps of Hope program builds home access ramps, providing children and adults affected by a disability with safe access into and out of their homes. Our ramps meet ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) specifications and building regulations and are offered at no cost to the recipients. 93 people are currently on the waiting list with more requests coming daily. Before any site evaluations or ramp plans are created, each ramp recipient must have a medical professional refer them and who identifies the diagnosis.

Ramps vary in size and, therefore, cost. Many variables determine the cost of materials. These variables include: the transitions from the home to the ramp, the height of the ramp, the length of the ramp, the terrain over which the ramp is built. A small ramp (3-5 pieces) costs on average $653. A medium ramp (6-8 pieces) costs on average $1227. A large ramp (more than 8 pieces) costs on average $1959. Every ramp is built by volunteers who donate thousands of hours each year.

Through your gift recipients acquire the ability to participate in the community, as they wish. They are no longer confined to their home. A Ramp of Hope may help them to attend family gatherings, attend church, make it to a doctor's appointment, receive a life-saving medical treatment, go home from the hospital or rehabilitation facility, see their child or grandchild be married, or simply go outside to enjoy our beautiful Erie area weather!
