Alzheimer's Association Greater PA Chapter

For families facing Alzheimer’s disease, support can make all the difference. The Alzheimer’s Association is the world’s leading nonprofit organization dedicated to Alzheimer’s care, support and research. In Pennsylvania alone, more than 282,000 people are living with Alzheimer’s disease, while more than 465,000 caregivers provide millions of hours of unpaid care every year.

Across Pennsylvania — and especially in Erie — the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Pennsylvania Chapter has become a leading force in providing care, education, advocacy and hope to individuals impacted by dementia. Serving 59 counties across western, central and northeastern Pennsylvania, the organization works to advance research, connect families with resources and create stronger support systems for caregivers and patients alike. Through local offices in Pittsburgh and Harrisburg, along with a network of volunteers across the Commonwealth, the Greater Pennsylvania Chapter delivers support groups, educational programs, advocacy initiatives and a 24/7 Helpline for families navigating the realities of dementia.
