Your generosity directly impacts families through programs like:

• Family Assistance Program: We provide essential support such as gas and meal cards to families visiting their children in the NICU or Pediatric Unit, easing financial burdens during a stressful time.
• Safe Sleep Initiative: Every child deserves a safe place to sleep. We provide Pack 'n Plays to families who lack safe sleep options at home, promoting healthy development and peace of mind.
• Life-Saving Medical Equipment: As each child's health needs are unique, CMN funds state-of-the-art medical equipment, empowering our medical teams to deliver the best possible care. For example, we recently funded a new NICU transporter, a critical piece of equipment costing $150,000, to safely transport our smallest patients to and from the hospital for specialized care.
• Creating Comforting Environments: We've also refreshed the entrances of both our NICU and Pediatric Unit. These thoughtful improvements offer a more welcoming and less stressful experience for patients, families, and even our dedicated caregivers as they arrive for treatment.

Meet Asher, Our 2026 Miracle Child!

Asher's story is just one example of the incredible impact your support has. Funds raised by CMN help kids like Asher not only survive but thrive, overcoming significant health challenges with the best possible care and resources.

At just 20 weeks pregnant, Sarah and Jeremy received some tough news: their baby, Asher, wasn’t growing as expected. This meant lots of doctor visits, hospital stays and constant worry. Then, at 33 weeks, Asher made his early entrance via emergency C-section. He needed immediate help breathing and was whisked to the NICU at AHN Saint Vincent, but this little warrior was ready to fight! 

Thanks to specialized medical technology supported by Children’s Miracle Network, Asher grew stronger each day. Sarah and Jeremy, checked in through the NICView camera, finding comfort in his progress. The NICU nurses even shared a surprise message “from Asher” to his parents, which they saw on camera while checking in at night: “Mom and Dad, I am rocking this CPAP!” Talk about a caring team!

After 42 days, Asher was finally ready to go home. His journey shows the importance of specialized care for children, and how Children’s Miracle Network helps make it possible.
