Who We Are
Saint George School is one of six schools that are part of the Erie Catholic School System. Saint George School is a Parochial school offering 2 1/2-Year-Old Preschool, 3-Year-Old Preschool, Pre-K through 8th-Grade elementary and middle school education. The school was founded in 1944 by Msgr. Franklin and the Sisters of Mercy. Erie Catholic schools are communities where educators and families nurture and shape children in the Catholic faith. Our students grow spiritually and intellectually amid a welcoming culture of respect, inclusiveness and shared values rooted in the teachings of Christ.
Saint George School is committed to our mission of providing students with excellent academics, leadership opportunities, and faith development. At this time we have transitioned our students from the traditional face-to-face classroom setting to online learning to achieve our educational goals for advanced education. During these times of economic uncertainty many families are struggling with how to pay their tuition. Please help!
