Erie Area Rabbit Society & Rescue (EARS)

EARS is the only organization in the Erie area dedicated to the welfare of domestic rabbits.

Our Mission is simple: Educate, Adopt, Rescue and Shelter

Educate - Through outreach activities at schools, colleges and community events, we educate the public on proper rabbit care and the joy of having an indoor domestic rabbit.

Adopt - Our adoption team works to find homes for the rabbits currently in our care. In the first half of this year, 39 rabbits have been adopted.

Rescue - We responded to surrender and rescue requests for 94 rabbits already this year, resulting in 31 new rabbits in our care. The rabbits come from various backgrounds including abandoned, cruelty cases, and hoarding situations.

Shelter - Our shelter currently houses 71 rabbits. We are committed to providing proper care, including veterinary care and spay/neuter, while the rabbits await adoption. We are 100% no-kill.
