Erie Together is a countywide “collective impact” movement to achieve economic stability for all Erie County residents. We do this by facilitating alignment and collaboration among the business, education, healthcare, social service, government, workforce development, and faith-based sectors and citizens to make the Erie region a community of opportunity where everyone can learn, work and thrive.
Erie Together is not a social service agency or program. It is a movement of hundreds of individuals and organizations working together, and differently, within their own personal, professional and volunteer circles to improve our community, the local economy and people’s lives.
Programs and Services
Erie Together has three objectives: helping more kids become successful adults, more people secure and maintain meaningful employment, and more families become self-sufficient. Through Erie Together, silos have been broken down, new relationships have been built, and our community is now speaking with one voice and tackling a range of priorities. Specific projects include:
(1) Developing career exploration opportunities and a career pathways system for kids in grades K-12
(2) Facilitating creation of a strategy to reduce domestic violence in Erie County
(3) Co-hosting a “Youth Civic Engagement Symposium” for senior high students
(4) Creating opportunities for "out of school youth" aged 18-24 to secure local jobs
