Erie Women's Fund

Who We Are 

The Erie Women's Fund is a collective group of women whose mission is to Empower, Women, and Families in the Erie region. The fund educates and inspires its members to positively impact the lives of women through philanthropy and community engagement. 

Our annual grant of $100,000 has been used to benefit numerous nonprofits, most recently being The US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI). In total, the Erie Women's Fund has given over $1,300,000 in grants - and our impact is only possible through the support of our members and generous donors. 

Our Work: 

• Provide financial grants and support to mission aligned nonprofits 


• host enriching educational forums that informs members on pressing issues in the community 


• Bring light to the challenges women and children face in Erie

Our 2024 Grantee: 

In 2024, the Fund awarded The US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) our annual grant of $100,000. USCRI's mission is to protect the rights and address the needs of persons in forced or voluntary migration and support their transition to a dignified life. The Erie Women's Fund will help to aid them in their efforts to provide legal, social, health, resettlement services along with many other services a person may need when moving to the Erie area.

How You Can Support EWF:

There are few ways that you can support the Erie Women's Fund on Erie Gives Day:

Make A Membership Gift: 

Whether you are a renewing member or brand new to the Fund, Erie Gives is a great time to join EWF. The Erie Women's Fund has four different membership levels, all of which grant members access to our educational and informational opportunities, the ability to join a committee, and most importantly a vote on our annual grant recipient!

Membership gifts on Erie Gives Day 2025 will provide a membership through Erie Gives 2026 and include the opportunity to vote on our 2026 major grant recipient. 

Platinum ($2,500+ annually) 

Gold ($1,000 annually) 

Silver ($500 annually)

Bronze ($250 annually) 

General Support: 

Our philanthropic impact wouldn't be possible without the support of valuable community partners and corporate sponsors who allow us to give out such generous grants. If you would not like to participate in membership with the fund but would still like to give, we welcome such gifts. 

Note: all gifts above $250 will be eligible for membership in the Erie Women's Fund, though we welcome non-membership gifts at or above this amount. If you have any questions about your gift, we will be in touch using the information provided with your donation. Thank you!
