Programs and Services
As state funding to Pennsylvania schools decreases, student needs continue to grow. In order to help the District continue to provide quality education with decreasing funds, a group of community members founded the General McLane Foundation as an organization designed exclusively for charitable educational purposes that would benefit the students of the General McLane School District.
This non-profit Foundation uses public support to provide additional programs and activities, which are not supported by the normal operating budget. These programs include student scholarships, innovative educational programs and capital improvements of student facilities. The Foundation also is part of the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program.
