Goodell Gardens & Homestead

Mission

To hold and maintain botanical and historical collections for exhibition and interpretation in order to encourage public understanding and appreciation of plants, their relationship to humanity, and the heritage of the Goodell family. This mission is accomplished through educational programming and the adaptive reuse of the buildings, land, and artifacts of the Goodell homestead and farm.

Programs and Services

Public display gardens & accredited arboretum featuring native and pollinator plants, specimen trees, and a large collection of rhododendron and azalea. Goodell Gardens offers educational and cultural programs and special events providing environmental, gardening and art education, as well as celebrating our agricultural community and heritage, field trips, classes, workshops, festivals, concerts, and more.
