Programs and Services
The HHC is a multi-purpose museum, research facility and historical society serving the greater Erie community. We also maintain two historic farmhouses in rural Erie County. (Girard, PA)
The HHC campus in Erie includes three historic buildings used for museum exhibits in 21 galleries.
HHC provides multiple services to the community, local school districts and universities. Robust educational programming is a core value of the organization. Focused on the many underserved school children, HHC offers free museum tours for school groups, online lesson plans that support both teachers and homeschooling, a speaker series, and a mobile education plan with school visits and traveling trunk exhibits of artifacts.
