The Horizon Series stands at the forefront of contemporary chamber music, dedicated to breaking boundaries and expanding horizons in classical performance. This innovative ensemble has carved out a unique niche by championing the voices that have historically been marginalized in the classical music world, creating intimate and accessible musical experiences that resonate with today's diverse audiences. in 2023, the organization staged the first ever summer chamber music festival that Erie, PA. had ever seen! We are busy planning and preparing to make our 2026 season even better!

Founded with a revolutionary spirit, the Horizon Series challenges traditional concert formats while maintaining the highest artistic standards. The organization has built a reputation for discovering and presenting exceptional repertoire that spans cultures, generations, and musical traditions, always with an eye toward inclusivity and artistic excellence.

Mission: To reimagine chamber music for the 21st century by spotlighting underrepresented composers and making exceptional live classical performances free and accessible to all communities.

Vision: To create a more inclusive classical music landscape where LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and female composers receive the recognition and platform they deserve, while fostering deep connections between audiences and the transformative power of chamber music.
