Mental Health Association of NW PA
The Mental Health Association of Northwestern Pennsylvania provides a consumer-driven environment which supports and promotes recovery for all people with mental health needs including veterans, residents of Warren State Hospital and persons who are criminal justice involved.
Programs and Services
Consumer Recovery Center – A safe and relaxing environment where members have the opportunity to utilize resources such as free Wi-Fi, a computer lab, self-help library, a shower facility, laundry, and volunteer-run café.
Certified Peer Specialists – State Certified Peers who assist peers with developing and attaining goals on their recovery journey.
Consumer Family Satisfaction Team – Survey persons who have used Mental Health and/or Drug and Alcohol services.
Warming Center – This season, the Warming Center was not open due to the challenges with COVID-19. MHA partnered with EUMA’s Our Neighbor Place to offer shelter to those who were unhoused. Plans for next year depend on the COVID-19 situation and community needs.
