The Mental Health Association of NWPA provides support and advocacy to those in recovery-to be themselves and to feel accepted and connected with others with shared experiences.
Programs and Services
The Mental Health Association operates a Consumer Recovery Center which provides opportunities for adult's with mental health needs to interact with peers in an environment in which they feel safe and respected. The Consumer/Family Satisfaction Team gathers information from consumers and family members to express their satisfaction or dissatisfaction with mental health and drug/alcohol services received throughout the year. The Peer Support Specialists provide support, advocacy and education to adult consumers of mental health services in Erie County. The Peer Navigators work with library patrons at the Blasco Memorial Library to learn more about community resources.
