Programs and Services
NAMI of Erie County provides free evidence-based programming for individuals and families facing the challenges of mental illness. This year, NAMI is launching a new program—NAMI Basics! This program is an adaption of the Family-to-Family program and assists parents and caregivers who have a child showing the signs of mental illness and behavioral disorders. Participants learn about the mental health system, IEP’s and the school system, family strengthening techniques, and other useful strategies to support their family and child.
NAMI continues to offer the Family-to-Family and Peer-to-Peer programs, as well as Exploring the Arts with NAMI and educational presentations to schools. For more information, please visit at www.NAMIerie.org.
