Programs and Services
SafeNet offers safe housing options including short term emergency as well as transitional housing. Of the 500 victims housed each year, half are children under the age of 12. Our children’s programs including counseling are key to breaking the generational cycle of abuse. SafeNet provides legal representation for Protection from Abuse Orders and other legal issues resulting from the relationship, safety planning, counseling, and advocacy. SafeNet also provides education and training to police officers, healthcare workers, and others so that our community has a better understanding of the challenges and barriers faced by families trying to free themselves from abuse. SafeNet's emergency hotline is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
