White Pine Center for Healing Corp
Our mission is to educate, advocate for, prevent the onset of and treat people with eating disorders, body image issues, weight stigma and trauma. We also treat feeding disorders and other food related issues. Our evidence based outreach, education and prevention programs are funded totally by donations and grants. These funding sources also provide scholarships for those who can't afford treatment.
Programs and Services
We provide clinical assessments, referral sources, and treatment for those with problem relationships with food. We offer in person and virtual individual outpatient therapy, outpatient therapy groups, groups for parents, support groups. We receive referrals from medical providers, area therapists, school nurses and counselors and other mental health agencies. Eating disorders are complicated biopsychosocial disorders and require a team approach.
Our outreach initiative, "No Time Like the Present", offers evidence based programs to schools, community centers, medical practitioners and community groups. Disordered eating affects the entire family so we strive to especially target parents in prevention and educational programming.
