Choose the Giving Option That's Right for You!

Whether you plan to give online, by phone, or through another approved giving method, we're here to help. Review the options below to determine which method is best for you and be sure to note any applicable deadlines.

Give Online or By Phone

Online giving is the easiest and most convenient way to support participating nonprofits during Erie Gives.

• Give through the Erie Gives website on August 11, 2026, from midnight to midnight, or by phone at 814.454.0843, from 8am to 8pm.
• No credit card or transaction fees!
• Support one or multiple participating nonprofits with a single transaction.  There is no limit on the number of nonprofits you can support.
• Complete your gift securely through the Erie Gives online giving platform.

Give by Check

If you prefer to give by check, please review the following requirements to ensure your gift is eligible for Erie Gives.

• Checks must be made payable to The Erie Community Foundation.
• All checks must be accompanied by the completed Check Contribution Form.

Please note that due to safety concerns from ongoing construction, Erie Gives checks cannot be dropped off at the Foundation this year.

Checks and completed forms must be received by The Erie Community Foundation no later than August 4, 2026. Checks received after the deadline will not be accepted for Erie Gives.

IRA Gifts

You may be able to support Erie Gives through an IRA gift.

• IRA gifts must follow The Erie Community Foundation's approved instructions and deadlines, as outlined under Give by Check.
• IRA gifts must be received by August 4, 2026 to be accepted for Erie Gives.

Please work with your financial institution or advisor well in advance of the deadline.

Stock Gifts

You may be able to support Erie Gives through a stock gift.

• Stock gifts require advance coordination to ensure The Erie Community Foundation can receive and process your gift correctly.
• Stock gifts must be received by August 4, 2026 to be accepted for Erie Gives.

Please contact The Erie Community Foundation before initiating a stock transfer.

Donor-Advised Fund Gifts

You may be able to recommend a grant from a donor-advised fund housed outside of The Erie Community Foundation.

• Donor-advised fund gifts should be initiated early to allow adequate processing time before the Erie Gives deadline.
