Anne's Erie ClaySpace Fundraiser

"I first walked through the doors of Erie ClaySpace in 2019 when I started teaching. It was an exciting time because we were all learning together and helping build the studio into what it is today. I’ve worked with clay for over twenty years, and I immediately felt like this was a place where people could learn, create, and feel at home.

Over the years, I’ve found so much more than a studio—I found a community. Teaching students has been one of the most rewarding parts of my clay journey. I love watching beginners discover they can make something they never thought possible and seeing experienced potters continue to grow. Erie ClaySpace is full of people who encourage one another, share ideas, and celebrate each other’s successes.

Erie ClaySpace gives people a place to slow down, be creative, and connect with others. Art has a way of bringing people together, and this studio welcomes everyone, whether they’re touching clay for the first time or have been making pottery for years. I believe it’s an important part of our community because it inspires creativity, builds friendships, and reminds us that we’re always learning from one another.
