This Erie Gives, I am proud to support the French Creek Council, Scouting America, because I believe every young person deserves the opportunity to discover their potential through Scouting.

Scouting changes lives.

It teaches young people to become leaders, serve others, solve problems, build confidence, and develop the character that prepares them for success in school, careers, and life. At Custaloga Town Scout Reservation, Scouts disconnect from screens and reconnect with nature while learning skills that last a lifetime. Through camping, hiking, service projects, leadership opportunities, and community involvement, they discover that they are capable of more than they ever imagined.

Unfortunately, not every family can afford the cost of registration, uniforms, camping equipment, or summer camp. That's why the French Creek Council's Camp for All initiative is so important. Funds raised during Erie Gives help provide financial assistance, outdoor adventures, leadership programs, volunteer training, and safe, high quality Scouting experiences for youth throughout northwestern Pennsylvania.
