The Bastion: Roof Repairs

The Bastion is a vital arm of 1020 Collectives mission to support living artists. We provide space, time and opportunities for artists of all ages to make their work whether in their private studio space in our building or through the work of the artists who create our community. The Bastion is buzzing with life and creativity - providing space for community members to express, share and commune together. This is a much needed space in our city. 

The Bastion is also the historic home of Daniel Illig and Mary Schulz which deserves preservation and restoration. We work tirelessly to bring this building to life both inside through the vibrant arts community and outside through restoration. 

The Bastion is in urgent need of roof repair so we can stabilize the original wood work as we fundraise to restore the roof and carpentry to its original splendor. We need this repair now so we can continue working and creating here.
