Our Erie Gives 2026 Mission
At EmergyCare, we show up every day with one shared purpose:

Every response, every patient interaction, and every decision is rooted in delivering the right care, at the right place, at the right time. This Erie Gives, we have the opportunity to come together as one team and directly support that mission.
What We’re Raising Funds For
This year, our focus is on something our crews rely on during some of the most critical moments we face:
advanced cardiac monitors.
In a cardiac emergency, seconds matter. These devices allow our teams to:
- Quickly assess heart rhythms
- Deliver lifesaving defibrillation
- Transmit critical data to hospitals before arrival
Each monitor costs approximately $60,000, and as our current equipment ages, replacing these devices has become both urgent and increasingly challenging.
Why This Matters to Us
EmergyCare responds to more than 81,000 calls each year across 2,100 square miles in northwestern Pennsylvania. That means these monitors are not occasional tools; they are used every day by our providers in the field.
They directly support:
- The work of our 200+ team members
- The care we provide to our neighbors, friends, and families
- The outcomes of patients in life-threatening situations
When our crews have access to the most advanced equipment, it strengthens our entire organization, and most importantly, it saves lives.
Why We Need Our Team
While service fees help sustain our daily operations, they don’t fully cover the cost of replacing critical equipment like cardiac monitors. As a nonprofit organization, we rely on additional support to bridge that gap.
