About Erie Gives

In celebration of our 75th Anniversary, The Erie Community Foundation hosted an exciting day called Erie Gives.

Erie Gives, took place on Tuesday, August 2nd from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Erie Community Foundation matched a percentage of each donation made. As part of our 75th Anniversary, we shared $75,000 among the participating nonprofits, along with an additional $25,000 from GE Transportation. The more donations made to a nonprofit, the more matching funds that nonprofit received from The Erie Community Foundation.

The goals of Erie Gives are to:

• Increase online giving
• Encourage younger donors to become philanthropic
• Spotlight our strong nonprofit community and members of The Nonprofit Partnership
• Celebrate 75 years of giving!

The donation amount list will be available on Aug. 12.
