The purpose of the Edinboro Area Historical Society is to promote an interest in local history; to identify, file, and record documented historical data and to preserve artifacts unique to the Edinboro area; to inform the people of the community about such in publications and meetings; and to encourage educational activities and the preservation of historical buildings and other sites.
