For over a century, the Harborcreek Fire Department has proudly served our community with dedication, courage, and heart. As the oldest of the three Harborcreek departments, we’ve stood the test of time—responding to emergencies, saving lives, and protecting property with a 100% volunteer team.
But being in the least populated area of Harborcreek presents unique challenges. Recruiting new members and securing funding is difficult, yet our commitment to safety and service never wavers.

This Erie Gives Day, Harborcreek Fire Department is asking for your help with a project that will make a real impact on our rescue capabilities. We’re working to raise $9,000 to purchase a 7 ft x 16 ft enclosed trailer that will house our technical rescue equipment — including our mule, drone, and rope gear. Having this trailer means we can respond faster, stay organized, and operate safely no matter the weather. It also gives us a reliable space to set up command during rescues, keeping our team protected while they work. Your generosity eases the financial strain on our volunteers and helps us continue providing the high‑quality service our community deserves.
