Opportunities Unlimited of Erie

Opportunities Unlimited of Erie (OU) is an independently operated, registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment through personalized support and meaningful opportunities.

Since our current leadership assumed management in 2020, OU has experienced significant growth, expanding our programs to serve both high school students and adults throughout Erie County. Guided by our Executive and Associate Directors, we continue to develop innovative services that help each individual achieve their personal and employment goals.

Our mission is to restore hope, build confidence, and create pathways to independence. We believe every person deserves the opportunity to succeed, and we tailor our services to meet each individual's unique strengths, interests, and needs.

Our Services Include:

• Work readiness and pre-employment training
• Paid work experience internships
• On-site job coaching and employment supports
• Trade school and career exploration
• Self-advocacy and independent living skill development
• Individualized employment planning and support
