Corry Area United Fund

Corry Area United Fund, originally The United Fund of the Corry Area and the Corry
Community Chest was founded in November of 1947. The mission of the Corry
Community Chest was to raise funds to distribute to its member agencies, that
being non-profit organizations, clubs, and other entities in the Corry Area
that helped make the community a better place. Many times, these agencies
didn’t have the resources to always secure their own funding, which is where we
came in.

.Corry Area United Fund has always been an autonomous organization, not affiliated
with any other United Way. The monies Corry raises stays in Corry to help our
own citizens.

Since inception, the organization has raised funds for social service agencies in our community.  Corry Area United Fund has strived to maintain a low budget so the majority is share with our non-profits.

With your donations, we will continue to serve the Corry community for the
foreseeable future.

For our 2026 Campaign we have thirteen agencies that we are helping to raise funds for the many services that they contribute to Corry that is very needed.

Our campaign theme is “Seat 13” which is about courage, initiative, and impact.  It reminds us that change doesn’t start with everyone, it starts with someone. And that someone can be anyone willing to take the first seat, showing heart!
