JAM Team Foundation

Please consider the JAM Team Foundation when making your contributions to our community on Erie Gives Day. During Erie Gives Day, donations to the JAM Team Foundation will support our Miracle Spaces program. Miracle Spaces help early childhood education providers create engaging, inclusive learning environments where all children can thrive. We help providers purchase STEAM-focused and accessibility-based play equipment that encourages exploration, creativity, problem-solving, and learning through play.

Recently, the JAM Team Foundation proudly completed its second round of Miracle Spaces grants, awarding more than $48,000 to early childhood education providers. These funds helped bring impactful resources into classrooms and play spaces, including large soft blocks that are safe, accessible, and designed to introduce children to foundational STEAM concepts. The response from providers, children, and families has been overwhelmingly positive, including this impactful story:

“We have one little girl who is facing some physical challenges—she is bow-legged and suffered a stroke, limiting movement in one of her hands. She has done excellent with the soft blocks; she is able to safely explore and learn many new things. She became comfortable with jumping and learning how to get on and off the blocks. She could practice her fine motor skills by picking the blocks up and she didn’t have to worry about hurting herself! In a few months of being in our program, she has gained so much and a large part of it was having these blocks available. Thank you so much for making this purchase possible.”

Yet the need continues to grow. During our last funding cycle, we received more than $120,000 in grant requests—far exceeding the funds available. Every donation helps close that gap and brings us closer to creating more high-quality, accessible learning spaces for children across our region.
