This year's campaign, Growing Outside, Healing Inside, celebrates the important role our outdoor spaces play in helping young people heal. At HYS, healing doesn't only happen in therapy sessions. It happens while planting a garden, learning a new skill, taking a walk, playing outside, or simply finding a peaceful place to breathe.
I'm fundraising on behalf of HYS this Erie Gives Day to help support and improve the outdoor spaces across our 60-acre campus, including gardens, recreation areas, walking paths, athletic spaces, and other environments where kids can build confidence, resilience, and hope.
