In many rural communities across Northwest Pennsylvania, students who are interested in healthcare often don’t have clear pathways to explore careers or access training opportunities close to home. At the same time, healthcare facilities struggle to recruit and retain professionals in these areas.
NW PA AHEC works to bridge that gap by connecting students with healthcare career pathways, supporting training for professionals, and partnering with local organizations to strengthen the regional workforce.
As a result, more students are able to pursue healthcare careers, and more communities gain access to quality care closer to home. NW PA AHEC is honored to do this work and would love for you to join us by supporting our mission!
