"I started as a studio tech at Erie Clayspace in 2019 after graduating from college. I had only taken a few ceramics classes in school, and I desperately wanted to continue working in clay. Since then, not only has Erie Clayspace given me the opportunity to build my skills, but I have also been able to create my own ceramic business and explore a career in teaching pottery.
At ECS, anyone who joins for a class or a membership can start a new skill, join a community, express themselves through artwork, and develop an appreciation for the ceramic arts. Where else can you find a prepackaged hobby complete with all these attributes?
