Carolyn's EC3 Erie Gives Page

Education has always been a powerful force in my life. Throughout my career in nonprofit development, I have witnessed how access to education can change the trajectory of a person's future, strengthen families, and create lasting impact within communities. That is why I proudly support the EC3 Scholarship Fund.

Every day, I meet students whose determination inspires me. Many are balancing jobs, raising families, caring for loved ones, or returning to school after years away from the classroom. They come to EC3 with dreams of building a better future, yet financial barriers often stand in their way. Scholarships help remove those barriers and allow students to focus on their education, their goals, and their success.

What makes EC3 special is its commitment to serving all learners. Students from across Erie County, including first generation college students, adult learners, and those facing economic challenges, have the opportunity to pursue an affordable, high quality education close to home. Scholarships ensure that opportunity remains within reach for everyone.

As Director of Advancement, I have the privilege of hearing firsthand how donor generosity changes lives. A scholarship is much more than financial assistance. It is encouragement, confidence, and a message to students that their community believes in them. It can be the difference between a student continuing their education or putting their dreams on hold.
