Millcreek Counseling and Mental Health Advocacy Partnership Corp.

Mission

The Millcreek Counseling and Mental Health Advocacy Partnership’s long-term vision is a community where all individuals have equal access to quality mental health services. Our mission is therefore to ensure all members of the local community, regardless of race, ethnicity, socioeconomic-status, or education, have access to mental health resources. Furthermore, to ensure that all mental health practitioners have access to training and continuing education so that they are able to provide quality mental health services to the local community. To enact long-term community improvement we work to increase awareness of these challenges facing vulnerable populations, including the working poor.

Programs and Services

The Millcreek Counseling and Mental Health Advocacy Partnership provides mental health counseling to individuals, couples, and families who do not have the ability to pay for mental health services. The majority of the individuals that we serve are members of the working poor who often do have insurance, yet have deductibles that they are unable to pay. In the past year we have treated children and adults who have faced depression, anxiety, PTSD, personality disorders, trauma, abuse, eating disorders, ADD, ADHD, and drug and alcohol addictions issues. In addition, we have treated many families dealing with domestic violence issues.
