When a heart stops, hope doesn't

Every day, I see just how critical timing and technology are in an emergency. When someone experiences a cardiac event, seconds matter, and having the right equipment in the hands of our crews can truly mean the difference between life and loss.

This Erie Gives; I’m supporting EmergyCare as we work to replace advanced cardiac monitors used by our EMS teams. These devices allow paramedics to quickly assess heart rhythms, deliver lifesaving defibrillation, and send real-time data directly to the hospital, giving patients a better chance before they even arrive.

With over 81,000 calls each year, these monitors are in constant use and replacing them is both urgent and expensive. That’s why community support is so important.
