I am raising funds through Erie Gives to support EmergyCare because if I, or someone I love, is in need of an ambulance, I want the EMS crew that responds to have the most extensive training and the most updated equipment possible - which is what EmergyCare provides.
When someone experiences a cardiac event, seconds matter, and having the right equipment in the hands of experienced crews can truly mean the difference between life or death. That is why for Erie Gives, I am supporting EmergyCare as we work to replace advanced cardiac monitors used by our EMS teams. These critical pieces of equipment allow crews to quickly assess heart rhythms, deliver life-saving defibrillation, and transmit real-time data to hospitals - giving patients a better chance of survival before they even arrive.
With over 81,000 calls each year, these tools aren’t optional. They’re essential. These monitors are in constant use and replacing them is both urgent and expensive. That's why community support is so important.
