Erie City Moms exists to ensure that diverse Mother Figures across Erie—especially those navigating economic hardship and social isolation—have consistent access to healthy community, personal and professional growth, and opportunities for upward mobility.
Each year, Erie City Moms serves more than 1,500 Mothers and children through 100% free:

Our work is rooted in a simple belief: When Mothers are supported, families become stronger, children experience greater stability, and the entire Erie community benefits for generations.
A Continuum of Community
Erie City Moms provides a relationship-centered, trauma-informed Continuum of Community that meets Mothers where they are and offers multiple ways to connect, grow, receive support, and lead.
A Mom may first connect through Moms Night Out or a Mom&Me MeetUp. From there, she may attend a Mother Matters Mentoring Circle, receive individualized support through 1:1 mentoring via our Good Friend Initiative, work toward stable housing and homeownership through the H.O.M.E.: Homeownership for Mothers in Erie Mentoring Program, or become a trained Peer Advisor. By investing in Mothers as leaders, Erie City Moms strengthens trust, cultural responsiveness, and a leadership pipeline rooted in lived experience.
Every Mother enters with different needs, strengths, goals, and experiences. Our Continuum of Community creates space for her to take the next step while surrounded by people who believe in her.
Moms do not need to meet an income requirement, complete a complicated application, or "know someone." If we have an open seat, any and every Mom is welcome.
